Here’s a short, rather astounding clip from 1974 wherein legendary sci-fi author Arthur C. Clarke calmly and confidently explains to a father and his young son various not-yet-invented things that will dominate our future including, but not limited to, the home computer, the internet, remote workplaces, Tickets.Com, online banking and Zoom. The father naturally fears how this will affect human interaction–and rightfully so! We’re still trying to figure that one out. Clatke lived until 2008, dying at age 90, and so he saw a great deal of these predictions proven to be correct.
