I’ve been posting lousy musical numbers this week with the intention of connecting them to the lousy election but I’m tired of it. I’m tired of the election, I’m tired of this week and I’m looking to end things on a high note. (‘End things’ meaning the week, not my life. Politics is certainly not of that much importance to me–not when there are truly important things for me in life like this little old blog). Instead, let’s watch a great interview with Joan Rivers on British talk show host Michael Parkinson’s program from 2004. Rivers is 71, looks great (her facial surgery work had yet to backfire) and is non-stop hilarious. Happy Friday. And the hell with everything that’s not funny…which, alas, is plenty.
