Did you know that Albert Brooks made a comedy LP in 1975? This was in the heart of the Monty Python LP era (as a kid I was a voracious collector of comedy albums from the previous decade through the mid-70s) and I remember playing Brooks record many times over with a friend of mine who has since gone on to more sensible pursuits. Nonetheless, I’m sure my friend could recite large chunks of this album (as I can) which is a tribute to how much time Brooks caused us to waste listening to it. I won’t name my friend.
