W.C. Fields last home in Los Angeles was in a Hollywood neighborhood called Laughlin Park. The neighborhood is close to the hills of Los Feliz and gated for privacy. The house was for sale last year and a rather nice video was made showing the joint off. The house was adjacent to Cecil B. DeMille’s longtime estate. Actor Anthony Quinn was married to one of DeMille’s daughters and one day their child wandered onto the grounds of the Fields house, fell into a fish pond and drowned. Dreadful tale, especially given Fields famous dislike for children (which was, apparently, not the case at all). With that said, enjoy a look at the house.
