What you’re about to witness is one of the weirdest, wackiest party-down dance clips in the history of telethons. This is from the Easter Seals Telethon which aired on March 22 and 23rd 1975 on KTTV–11, a local Los Angeles station. The dance team consists of Marty Allen, Charo, Adrienne Barbeau and Ben Gazzara (yes, Ben Gazzara) with Peter Falk as pitchman and dance instructor. There’s also a large dancing Easter Bunny. I have to assume that Falk (as host) is responsible for Gazzara’s presence–perhaps Gazzara gave Falk a lift to the studio and decided to stay for the party.
