This week began for me with a low-grade depression which I slogged out of by watching the Marx Brothers famous mirror scene in ‘Duck Soup’. (I shared it with you. Watch it again!) Yesterday, on the mend, Bugs Bunny in ‘Falling Hare’ continued to raise my spirits. Finally today I share my ultimate feel-better movie, Laurel and Hardy’s ‘Helpmates’. There is literally not a frame of this film that isn’t perfect–and if you’ve seen it you no doubt agree. If you haven’t seen it you’re in for a major treat. I feel too good now and plan on watching a bunch of airplane crash videos to return me to the state of mind I woke up in three lousy days ago. Or perhaps a Mets game will suffice…
